即时通讯的项目开始进行了，是基于jabber协议的。先给个原始版本的截图

目前客户端运行在Win32下，图形界面用wxWidgets框架编写，希望能够容易移植到GTK2下。项目还在早期开发状态，有很多子项目需要完成，欢迎有兴趣的朋友参与。

Fedora Core 2 has been released finally. I successfully install the Chinese environment under Fedora Core 2 following the method in my piror article Chinese under English Locale.

Don’t patch the files /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc.d/xinput and /etc/gtk-2.0/gtk.immodules directlly. Coz the files have been upgraded in FC2.

今天安装了Fedora Core 2，测试了一下《在Fedora的英文界面下使用中文》，一次安装成功。

只是/etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc.d/xinput和/etc/gtk-2.0/gtk.immodules两个文件不能按照原文的patch，需要在相应位置修改一下。

安装测试是在vmware 4.5.1下进行。

Windows XP Patch

按照我前面的文章《在Fedora的英文界面下使用中文》，我又安装了一遍fedora core 1，只是这次升级了SCIM。可是按照原来的设置，SCIM 0.9.3却不灵了，按[crtl]-[space]无法跳出中文输入条。

卸掉SCIM 0.9.3，再安装SCIM 0.8.2就没有问题。
至于这是为什么，我还没时间琢磨。
